SHERRY GETS A NEW CAR - LEXUS ES 350

After Greg hit a feral pig while driving home from helping judge Technology projects at Aggieland, Sherry and I decided to let him have her 2003 Acura TL until he could either get his car repaired or buy a new one or just keep the Acura.

Of course this left Sherry without a car and a great excuse to get a new one.  This time she had her mind made up to get a red car.  Acura only has a red car that is more maroon than red so that was quickly negated any sale there.  We next stopped by the North Park Lexus castle and found a very bright red one.  After discussion with a young sales lady I picked out of the pictures of their sales folks, we headed into the sales office along with Sherry's sister Patty who had sold cars before and after Tiffany (Our sales lady) wrote up a cost (loaded with goodies), Patty wrote down a number and handed it to her saying " Don't come back with a counter offer!". Well they took the offer and Sherry bought the car.  It had to be shipped in, so we waited a few days and then it was ready to pick-up...

Sherry and Tiffany

One the way home while I was following Sherry after a quick stop at Costco, a dingbat young lady ran into the back of my Explorer with her little white Buick. I had my big 2 inch trailer hitch and ball and it took all the energy.  bent the trailer assembly ($815)  and left a nice hole in her front bumper.

Note the hitch is not square with the bumper - assembly is bent into the spare time under the frame.

You can see where she hit my hitch.
